AFL France was renamed from CNFA (Comité national de football australien) in 2022, which was created in 2005 in association with Leo Lagrange fédération. The first 4 teams were created this year.

AFL France manages the Championship, the French Cup and both nations teams women and men, the French Gauloises and French Coqs.

France is tied with Australia by the ANZAC, every year on the last weekend of April national teams play the ANZAC Cup against expat Aussies in Europe.

Footy is growing in France, we are working on the development and the creation of new clubs around France.
