The AFL (Australian Football League) is the body that manages both the national elite competitions for men (AFL) and women (AFLW), as well as promotion and development of the game at community level. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport’s governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. The AFL deliver funding and assistance to a number of affiliated international governing bodies, including AFL Europe, supporting our shared goal of promoting and growing the sport globally.
