Player of the Week – Mathilde Combes
AFL Europe Player of the Week
Each week AFL Europe is profiling a European player and finding out how they got into the great game of Aussie Rules and a bit about themselves. If you’d like a profile or know of someone who would, then email admin@afleurope.org to receive a question sheet.
Mathilde Combes plays for the Paris Cockerelles in the French League, the CNFA. Jumping onto the Aussie Rules bandwagon due to her brother playing the sport, Mathilde has been a prominent player in the French national team due to the lack of female league in France for now.
Taking part in the first ever Women’s AFL Europe Champions League, AFL Europe looks forward to welcoming Mathilde at Euro Cup in October also!
