West Lothian making waves in Scotland

A club that is without a doubt rising up the ranks in Scotland, the West Lothian Eagles ARFC hosted a Scottish Sirens Women’s National Team open training session at the Linlithgow Rugby Club on Saturday. Hosting some of the best talent in the nation, 15 females participated in the session that including seven girls who had never trained or played before, but are now signed up with West Lothian. Despite being an official entity for just seven months, the growth of the game is certainly strong in the county with many players consistently training each and every Wednesday. With the side set to enter the SARFL in 2019, the club is playing plenty of practice matches before their official debut in the competition. Their next game comes this weekend against the Glasgow Sharks.
